How it fits
Try shoes on later in the day, when feet are at their largest, wearing the socks you’ll wear with them. Clarks notes feet can swell through the day and suggests considering sizing up slightly to stay comfortable.
Your heel should fit snugly without slipping.
Between sizes
Between sizes? Size up if you wear thick socks or orthotics, or you're on your feet all day. Choose the smaller size if you like a snug, athletic fit.

How to measure
- Stand on a sheet of paper, with your weight on that foot.
- Mark the back of your heel and the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure between the marks in inches or centimeters.
- Measure both feet and use the longer one.
- Measure later in the day, when feet are at their largest, wearing the socks you’ll wear with the shoes.
