How it fits
Dansko shoes are sized in European (EU) whole sizes. Each EU size covers a half and a whole US size — for example, EU 38 fits a women’s US 7½ or 8.
Most Dansko styles are made in a medium width.
Between sizes
Between sizes? Size up if you wear thick socks or orthotics, or you're on your feet all day. Choose the smaller size if you like a snug, athletic fit.
Fitting closed-back clogs
Fit may feel slightly snug when you first step in.
Your toes should not touch the front of the clog, and your heel should move up and down freely as you walk.
Closed-back styles with buckles or elastic help fit both high and low insteps.
Fitting open-back clogs & sandals
Open-back and sandal styles support the full length of the foot. For some people the heel meets the back of the shoe exactly; for others it sits slightly forward of the back.
Buckles, elastic panels and convertible heel straps let you adjust the fit.

Unisex styles, like the Professional clog, are sold in EU sizes — use the women’s or men’s chart to find your EU size.
Finding your size
Dansko doesn’t publish foot measurements in inches or centimeters, so start from the US size you wear in most shoes and find it in the chart above.
For a precise fit, have both feet measured — later in the day, when feet are at their largest — and fit to your longer foot.
