How it fits
Kizik says its shoes are carefully tested to fit true to industry-standard sizing.
Many Kizik standard widths have a comfortable, accommodating fit thanks to the hands-free toe box design. Thin socks give a slightly less snug fit.
Between sizes
Between sizes? Size up if you wear thick socks or orthotics, or you're on your feet all day. Choose the smaller size if you like a snug fit.
Widths

| Wide (2E) | A great place to start if you usually need a wide fit. Between standard and wide? Try Wide in your regular size. |
| Extra Wide (4E) | The most generous fit, with maximum volume and width in the forefoot — good for very high arches or insteps. |

C = child sizes; Y = youth sizes, which start over at 1 after 13½. Size 10½C isn’t on Kizik’s chart — use your child’s foot length, or call us.
Growing room (kids)
How much room? About a thumb’s width at the toe — roughly ½ inch (1 to 1.5 cm) between the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Thumb test: with your child standing, press the tip of your thumb down at the front of the shoe. You should be able to press down without hitting a toe.
Time for a bigger size if toes are pressed against the front, the shoe leaves deep marks or blisters, or your child says their feet hurt. Too big if their heel lifts out when walking, or they trip or drag their feet.
How to measure
- Stand on a sheet of paper, with your weight on that foot.
- Mark the back of your heel and the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure between the marks in inches or centimeters.
- Measure both feet and use the longer one.
- Measure later in the day, when feet are at their largest, wearing the socks you’ll wear with the shoes.
