How it fits
Oboz recommends being fitted in person at an Oboz retailer — like our Kettering store. If that isn’t possible, Oboz says its footwear runs true to size.
Every Oboz style is built with a supportive arch, a roomy toe box and a sculpted heel pocket.
Generous vs. athletic fit
Oboz styles have one of two fit feels. Generous styles leave extra room for toe splay and foot swelling on long hikes. Athletic styles hug the foot for a nimble, precise feel.
Oboz says fit can feel different from style to style, so it recommends having your feet measured often and trying on a range of styles.
Between sizes
Between sizes? Size up if you wear thick socks or orthotics, or you're on your feet all day. Choose the smaller size if you like a snug fit.

Standard widths are measured on a Brannock Device, the same tool we fit with in our store. Oboz notes that a model’s pattern and materials can affect fit. Oboz doesn’t make narrow widths, but some models run narrower than others — call us and we’ll point you to them. In our size picker, Oboz widths may show as M/W or as letters (B/D for women, D/2E for men).

Oboz footwear is made in US sizes. Foot lengths in centimeters are Oboz’s; inches are converted.
How to measure
- Stand on a sheet of paper, with your weight on that foot.
- Mark the back of your heel and the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure between the marks in inches or centimeters.
- Measure both feet and use the longer one.
- Measure later in the day, when feet are at their largest, wearing the socks you’ll wear with the shoes.
