How it fits
Salomon sizes by foot length. Measure wearing the socks you’ll wear with the shoes — hiking socks for hikers, running socks for trail runners — and match the longer foot to the chart.
On Salomon’s chart, a women’s size is one size larger than the men’s size for the same foot length.
Between sizes
Between sizes? Size up if you wear thick socks or orthotics, or you're on your feet all day. Choose the smaller size if you like a snug fit.

Foot lengths are Salomon’s. Salomon lists EU sizes in thirds (for example, 42⅔). JP is the Japanese size, in centimeters.
How to measure
- Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall.
- Wear the socks you normally wear with this type of shoe.
- Stand on the paper with your heel against the wall and your foot straight out from it.
- Draw a line just in front of your big toe and measure from the wall to the line.
- Repeat for both feet and use the longer measurement.
