The 1080 is New Balance's plush neutral trainer, the softest daily shoe they make. This is the Truffle Salt colorway, a warm taupe grey with a darker grey heel clip and a white midsole.

Best For

• Neutral gait. There is no medial post here, so if you overpronate look at the 860v15 instead
• Long runs and high mileage, where the cushioning matters most
• Standing and walking all day, since the rocker does as much at walking pace as at running pace
• The widest fitting we carry in the 1080, from a B through a 4E, and the longest size run, up to a 16
• Orthotic wearers, since the insole lifts out cleanly
